Hey) The good news is poor vocab doesn't take a plastic surgeon to make it bigger. Simple reading will do the trick for you just fine

They never grow on trees, to be honest. Not even here in the capital.
Unfortunately, there is quite a common way of thinking betweenthe Russians from all over the country that the most important thing one can do in life is to come to Moscow. They are probably sure that once you step out of the cart on one of our railway stations, a million dollars falls from above and you get famous... Well, I have todisppoint you guys. we also WORK here. )))))

But even excellent vocabulary will get poor without regular training/usage.

How do you keep yours afloat? Personally, last I talked to a native speaker was last summer. Dayyym, how come they are so difficult to find???

I dont do much to be honest. Watching movies from time to time. Reading songs lyrics. Reading books not that much) Sometimes passing Eng tests just for fun or occasionally helping colleagues.

My name is Kate. I Have a poor vocabulary too I learned English at school. It was about 5-7 years ago... To learn English is interesting for me Because I want to travel and to speak with foreign people not only about the weather and Putin)))
